When science creates life

11th May 2017
The latest issue of In Vivo focuses on new developments in fertility treatments.
Thanks to scientific progress, infertile couples now have more chances than ever before to have a child. Yet reproduction experts are calling for more research because still less than 40 percent of the women treated in Switzerland for infertility end up getting pregnant. The in-depth feature in the latest In Vivo delves into the new options explored by scientists, like the production of artificial sperm, and the political concerns swirling around the new science.
The magazine also includes a magazine on the “pomodoro” technique, which can help improve concentration using a simple kitchen timer.
Available in English and French, the magazine In Vivo, produced by LargeNetwork, comes out three times a year. It is distributed by the Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) and to subscribers (www.invivomagazine.com). The publication is free, so the subscription only covers shipping fees (CHF 20 for six editions).
